Classroom Volunteers

The School Committee encourages and appreciates volunteer efforts in the school. Parents, college students, senior citizens, business representatives, and other community members are important sources of support and expertise that enrich the instructional program, assist the teachers, and connect the school with the community. The principal the coordinates volunteer programs to ensure that they support the goals of the school and that they operate smoothly. Volunteers who work on a regular basis or who work alone with children are required to have CORI checks.
