Curricular Themes | Curriculum Maps | Curriculum

Each grade level organizes instruction around themes in various subject areas, in compliance with state guidelines. Themes are organized differently, depending on the grade level. Some grades integrate science and social studies, while others separate them, and some grades plot their themes on a monthly basis, while others do not. The chart below reflects these variations in organizational styles.

Themes and Curriculum Maps are works in progress and reflect changes in curriculum for the 2004-2005 school year. Some grade leves are making significant changes which will require more time for curriculum development.
